Trucks. We know ’em and we love ’em here at BangShift and that is why we took special care to shoot photos of the coolest, weirdest, wildest, and most interesting trucks at the 2014 Goodguys show in Del Mar, California. These trucks range from the heavy duty 4×4 jobs to hot rods like you see below. We’re not exactly sure when somebody looked at the heroically yeoman pickup truck and decided, “Hey, that would be a cool thing to modify,” but we’re glad that unknown guy did.
Trucks are still a relatively cheap and simple way to get into the hot rod hobby. They are the last full framed vehicles left with longitudinally mounted engines and traditional transmissions, they can be made to haul some ass, they tend to have plenty of room in their engine bays, and they can be bought for cheap. All of the owners in this gallery love their trucks no matter their shape, size, or color. This is our tribute to them. All trucks, all the time!
That blue Travelette is beautiful! Thanks for sharing this, Brian!
I rode a heap of mile in the back of a black ford F1 when I was a youngin. But it didn’t have a scoop sticking through the hood like the one here does.
