The Pomona Swap Meet is a Southern California hot spot for car junkies, and a bucket list destination for hot rodders around the world. With more parts, cars, and vendors than you’ll find most anywhere, they literally have something for everyone. We cruised through the car corral area for the first Pomona Swap Meet of 2011, shot 350 photos, and couldn’t believe the number of cars and trucks that were on display. We don’t think they have had a crowd this big in years. It’s was incredible.

With sections specifically set up for Volkswagens, Muscle Cars, Corvettes, Pre- 57 Hot Rods, and Porsches, there is something for everyone. We started by walking through the VW section, admiring the cool lowered Cali Styled Bugs and Bajas and then made our way to the Muscle Cars. Our buddy Ron (Chassisman on the BangShift.com Forums) was on hand selling his bitchin Fiat bodied Altered, and we saw plenty of other stuff we would own. The crowd was so big, and the car count so huge, that we hardly made it through the muscle cars and into the pre-57 area. Everyone and their dog had a car for sale.
