There’s something about a killer naturally aspirated engine that just gets us excited. Take this video for example. Would we be all that worked up to see a 600hp naturally aspirated LS7? Probably not. But watching this 454ci LS7 build from Australia work its way from 867hp at 7,000 RPM right on through 950hp at 8,100 RPM is pretty spectacular. The cylinder heads and induction package on the engine are neat and Australian built as well. When the heads more 400+ CFM of air, you know things are going to really get rocking at the upper realms of the RPM range and they sure do here.
The engine is the latest in a string of them done by the owner who has long concentrated on naturally aspirated and nitrous assisted power. The guy has had a load of cool cars over the years and when you watch the Holden that this engine resides in work on the strip you’ll know from first blush that the man has his act together on the chassis side as much as he does on the engine side of the program. Long story short, this is awesome stuff all the way around.
If you love dyno pulls, killer engines, and the kind of raw horsepower no power adder can touch for coolness, this is a video you’re gonna love.
Thing is like a dart on the track. Straight and no drama.
