Back in early March we told you about a cool estate sale that is coming up in Pennsylvania. The original story showed you the interesting mix of Ford cars that were going ot be sold and it showed them as they sat at that specific moment, which was crusted in junk and dirt. Well the good news is that the cars, trucks, and vans were pulled out and professionally detailed, the results of said detailing revealed an AWESOME set of cars that even we couldn’t have predicted would be so nice.
This is the sale with the GT500 Shelby, the 29,000 mile Fox body, the four speed, 351 Cleveland powered Ranchero, and the bad ass old early 1960s Ford trucks. As neat as it was to see the cars in their untouched and crusty state, the images you’ll see below are jaw dropping. The Shelby is absolutely immaculate. The paint appears to be flawless, the original tires are intact, and the interior is also dead nuts perfect. All of the cars, trucks, and vans, are better than we would have ever expected. Not just “a little” good, we’re talking like show worthy, time capsule, completely awesome good. We’ve included a few images of the coolest stuff below and then there is a link to see the entirety of the collection that is for sale. We’re telling you that it is well worth the click!
We get preserving the “barn fresh” looks of some cars, but is there anything cooler than seeing something that is suspect and then seeing it looking like a million dollars aftwer a bath?

Damn!
$$$$$$$$$
Cool rides.
That van has 554 miles on it! Keep on truckin’!
RIP Larry Brown. My dad knew the owner pretty well. Larry wouldn’t wash the Shelby because he was afraid it would rust.
The van is cool, but the wheels/tires, side pipes and paint job would have to go — I grew up in the 60’s/70’s, it didn’t look good then, and it looks worse now. Oh, and I’m certain the interior would have to be gutted too, to remove all the old shag carpet.
Sorry, gotta disagree. I loved the look, back in the day, and still do. Just wondering, if you owned the van, what mods would you do?
One minor correction: the tires are on the Shelby are not original, they were replace in 1970 or so. They ARE period correct and in great shape for the age – just not original.
*replaced
A shame the Ranchero is probably the rarest car here but wont beat the Shelby for price. Strange the toploader code seems to be a close ratio for a big block 427 galaxie . 3514v close ratio toploader is RUGBA1. Oh well more weirdness from the ford camp.
What a horrible waste of so many great old rides. As a self proclaimed car guy, I can’t stand to see any cool classics gathering dust. They were built to be driven. To fail to do so is just wrong.
