Country singer Kathy Mattea was on the expressway to fame in 1997 when she released “455 Rocket” on here just released album Love Travels. It’s a cool tune, and one that was extremely popular at the time, reaching number 21 on the charts. Industry critics gave the song mixed reviews, saying that it wasn’t upbeat and punchy enough for the lyrics, but radio listeners apparently didn’t agree.
The video for this song is funny, wacky, and cool. We’d ride in this Rocket for sure.

Only problem, that olds didn’t come with a 455. The song was great though. 69 442 would have been better.
the only problem is that 69 442’s didn’t come with a 455 either, (unless your talking about the rare and hard to find Hurst/Olds. standard production 442’s didn’t get 455 ’till 1970
