As the theme song for the 1976 movie Car Wash, and the lead single on the soundtrack, this song would reach #1 on the Billboard Pop Charts. As a kid I remember this one for sure, and it always makes you laugh and want to sing with it. Which is why the video we chose for this one is the actual scene from the movie with the song playing and all. It’s goodness for sure, and will make you want to wash your car or put on your bellbottoms and platforms to get your groove on. Either way is fine with us.
