Lots of stuff has changed in the sport of drag racing over the years but one thing remains constant, rain outs suck. Well, they suck because no racing will happen, but if they happen early enough in the weekend they are an excellent excuse to party hardy and have some fun. That leads us to this photo of Berserko Bobby Doerrer, taken at Raceway Park in New Jersey during the 1968 season on a rainy afternoon.
Berserko summoned his inner strength and managed to deadlift the front of the smallest and weirdest car of all time, a BMW Isetta about a foot off the ground. We’re not sure what the after effects of this feat were but we can pretty much promise there was drinking in celebration, the man is a party animal!
Now that you know the story, we need a caption! Scroll down for the larger version of the photo and caption this feat of strength, just in time for Festivus!

Knew a guy that had 3 or 4 of these in the real early 70,s. Had roll cages welded around the outside of them so you could run them on a little dirt track that he had. If they rolled over you could just roll them back on their wheels and keep on racing. Loads of fun.
