It’s a damn good thing I’m broke, because I want this truck like I’ve never wanted one before. This 1977 Dodge D700 Club Cab is a jaw-dropping piece that looks just stunning. Black and chrome with Chrysler’s well-known pimp red interior, this D700 is claimed to be a custom build by Cotton Owens. According to the seller, the truck was built in 1987, and uses a stretched 240″ frame and a 1980 Club Cab section to make the D700 feel roomier. The 413, five-speed manual transmission, and two-speed rear axle were raided from Owens’ D800 car hauler and installed, and a 23’x8′ car ramp bed was added for the final touch.

dodge ramp truck 7 dodge ramp truck 5We would love to give this ramp truck Dodge a nice home, but suffice it to say that it’s probably going to be well out of our league when the auction ends. We would love to park this next to Roadkill’s 1973 Chevy ramp truck, and just wait until the guys came out and saw it. Hell, we’d just like to drive it, period. When was the last time you saw a mid-70s Dodge medium-duty, let alone one this nice?

Beautiful! I think HRM should buy it and paint it to match the Demon, or the Blasphemi Chevy.

If I could, I’d own it.
I’d also build up a matching D100 “Mini Me” pickup as a runabout or parts runner.
