Stock To Lowrider: This Beautiful 1959 Buick Electra Goes From Classic To Lowrider In Just Three Days

Stock To Lowrider: This Beautiful 1959 Buick Electra Goes From Classic To Lowrider In Just Three Days

There are a lot of different styles of low riders, and growing up on the West Coast, in both NorCal and SoCal I have seen them all. Some require serious customization to become lowriders and other cars have the style from the factory and need nothing more than hydraulics and wires to look just right. Someday I’d love to own a ’64 Impala on hydros with panel paint and all the trimmings, but there is also a part of me that thinks owning an old classic with nothing but suspension and wheels would be awesome. Maybe both!

In this video from Make It Kustom, Karl and the gang get his brother’s 1959 Buick Electra in the shop and turn it into a lowrider with hydraulic suspension from Hoppos and a set of wire wheels that just put the icing on top of the cake. This is one cool car that looks great stock but looks amazing lowered and sitting pretty. This is a fine example of how stance and wheels can completely transform a ride. Check it out.

The torque tube ain’t gonna like that. Maybe do that to a ratty ’59, but not a mint Electra. What in the hell is wrong with people?
