In our minds we always want any Barn Find cars to find amazing homes and to live happily ever after, like Cinderella. After all, finding some old car in a barn or shed is a pretty romantic notion, so it makes sense. But the reality is that most of the time they just end up getting cleaned up and sold. Sometimes the folks that buy them actually do what is needed to keep their value, whether that is restoring them or keeping them original, depending on the circumstances. But most of the time they don’t end up being restored by the family or saved or enjoyed by the people who have been keeping them.

This 1970 Mach 1 Mustang is one where the ending is more of a storybook ending than most. It is staying local, with people who know the history behind it, and that’s special for sure.
