Clint Manzer’s Chevy is just a freaking beast. We can’t tell if it’s a shortbed truck that got a flatbed or if it’s a Blazer, as the announcer calls out (she calls it a 1972, so think of that what you will). What we can tell is that there is something serious underneath that hood. Clint ran in the New Portland Fair truck pull in Maine a few days ago with this rig. We don’t know if he won, lost or anything like that. We do know that he was running the 2wd class due to a broken front axle, and that if he didn’t win anything else, he got the crowd on his side with the truck’s antics. Not only did this Chevy fight it’s way down the dirt, it did it in one of two ways: either by climbing the ring gear, hanging the front tires in the air, or by blowing fire out of the exhaust stacks. It looks like Manzer has a flamethrower kit in the pipes for a bit of show to us, but we aren’t complaining. With a V8 bellowing and fire flowing from the pipes, we’re in love with this stomper.

Hey bangshift thanks for noticing Clint’s truck. Its a 72 blazer frame with very few original parts. There’s a Chevy small block under the hood that he put together himself. Keeps it running with way more sweat and elbow grease than money. Runs in the pulls in the mud runs just to have fun and usually keeps going till something breaks. And he’s looking for a Dana 60 front end.
