Kevin Blalock is the track photographer at San Antonio Raceway and he captured what might be the most impressive rear end explosion sequence of all time. It appears that someone implanted a thermo-nuclear device in the third member of this Camaro. It looks like that the car was in the midst of a burnout when the poop hit an industrial sized fan.
Kevin had the presence of mind to keep on the shutter button and catch the flame show as well as the flaming part shooting across the track. As you look at the sequence pay attention to the starter on the left side of the frame. His reaction is priceless.
