The long awaited follow up to the massive 2006 hit movie Cars is due to hit the theaters in June of this year. Pictures of the cars involved in Cars 2 have been revealed and they show that most of the familiar faces from the first movie will return. Notably, and respectfully, Doc Hudson voiced by legendary actor and decorated racer Paul Newman is not in this second film.
in an awesome twist, there is a character named Holley Shiftwell who will play lovable tow truck Mater’s girlfriend. The name is no coincidence, it is a direct reference to Holley Performance Products, a company we’re very proud to have as a sponsor of BangShift.com. This is too bitchin’!
The plot of the movie will find the cast traveling the world and getting themselves into all sort of madcap adventures. Due to the two and four year old residents of our eastern offices, we are intimately familiar with every inch of Cars and we can guarantee that we’ll be in line for Cars 2 when it is on the big screen starting June 24, 2011.
