Chrysler Reveals Sketches of Awesome Jeep Concept Trucks to Be Unveiled at Moab on Easter Jeep Safari

For several years, the teams at MOPAR and Jeep have teamed up to build some really kick ass concept-style trucks that normally debut at the yearly Easter Jeep Safari at Moab. This year, there are going to be a trio of trucks shown and wheeled for the crowds and all three look to be completely and utterly awesome. Trucks like the awesome JT (which finally came to life with the Jeep pickup kit MOPAR sells), the NuKizer, and many other muscled up Wranglers all made their debut at the Easter Moab event. Chrysler must be happy with the results they get from doing this because it seems they allowed the boys to really run amok for this year’s three Jeeps.

No details have been shared yet and the only thing we have to go on are the three renderings and press release you will see below, but the fact that they are building another M-715 style truck, a highly modified “normal” Jeep, and our favorite, a modern rendition of the iconic Willys Forward Control truck has us giddy like 10-year old girls. The Forward Control style rig may actually cause us to lose consciousness when we lay eyes on spy photos or official press photos from the event. If the thing has a Hemi in it, we’re going to froth at the mouth before hitting the deck.

We’ll run photos as soon as we can get some, but until then, scroll down to see a quick release from Chrysler and MOPAR along with the three renderings of the trucks! Oh, and if you are going to Moab, shoot us a note  to [email protected] – you could be our inside reporter!

Here’s the release from Chrysler –

Jeep® and Mopar have teamed up once again to produce a selection of concept Jeep vehicles for the 46th annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. The Jeep Mighty FC concept, Jeep J-12 concept and the Jeep Wrangler Apache are three of six new vehicles that will be shown to enthusiasts in Moab, March 31 – April 8. Look for more on all of these new vehicles later this month.

I have always had a soft spot for the M715/Jseries style trucks. Had a 74 J20 that was pretty much unstoppable, and we had M715s when I was in the National Guard. Would be awesome to see an updated version, and the FC series were really cool, too! Could be again!

The FC would never pass the current or future safety regulations for crash or pedestrian protection but I would love to have one. A modern version of my ’62 Econoline Pickup!

If they can get a smart car to pass safety regs the FC should be a piece of cake…bring them on!!
