We decided to take a trip north this week and search Craigslist in Canada for a cool rig to show off on the blog. We hit a home run with this kick ass 1970 ‘Cuda that stopped us dead in our tracks when we laid eyes on it. Whether or not you dig Mopars, this bare-knuckled bastard should have you drooling. The color, the stance, the big block power plant, and the steel wheels have us plotting a bank robbery so we can buy it.
There’s so much to be said for simplicity. The body isn’t all hacked up, the paint looks decent and not totally overdone, there’s a nice meaty tire in the back and finally those dead sexy steel wheels. The hockey stick stripe is just icing on the cake.
The car is a racer according to the seller and due to it being set up for an 1/8 mile the rear end is filled with el-steepo 4.56 gears. The engine is a 440 whose specs are missing from the ad aside from the mention of headers. The trans is a 727 automatic and there are drum brakes on all four corners.
Man, we want this thing bad!
