This 1960 Cadillac Series 62 Could Be You Perfect Kustom

Disclaimer: We know the dude selling this car and are better for it. With that said, we can also tell you that he doesn’t do anything half assed and that the description in this add is not only incredibly honest but also underselling this bitchin ride. I’m a huge Cadillac fan, as is the dude who owns this 1960 Cadillac and can tell you that the modifications done to this one so far are incredibly subtle, classy, and well done. The ad has lots of info, and we’ll get right to it, but know that this car has a rebuilt engine, great bodywork, and a killer stance. It also has almost every part needed to finish it. Read on.

Here is all the info from the seller.

Want to build a Traditional Kustom? Well here’s your chance. . .

This 1960 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe (factory A/C) originated from Arizona, in 1999 it was relocated to Huntington Beach, CA. The previous owner had the car repainted white and the original 390 ci engine rebuilt. Once in California it was fitted with Jamco 3″ lowering coils/shocks front and rear — then off to the exhaust shop for a custom tucked up dual exhaust for ground clearance. It was driven for a couple of years, then it was time to start the Kustom process. . . it was stripped down to bare metal, the front floor pans were replaced, it was nosed, decked and shaved. Both the hood and trunk valences have been cut and welded in. The pot metal headlight extension were replaced with sheet metal to eliminate the gaps and seams. The body work was completed and the car was sprayed with House of Kolor DTS primer. The roof and dash pieces have been painted House of Kolor Orion Silver with the addition of silver metal flake. The Steering wheel was restored and painted to match.

The original dash pad was sent to Dash Specialties and was restored in white vinyl. A roll of white vinyl is included for the seats and door panels. A roll of silver loop carpet is also included.

It has a Gennie swan style shifter. Comes with new flat glass (6 pcs).

Most of stainless trim has been polished. All of the parts come with the car. It is missing the windshield. It starts, drives and stops. Clean California title with YOM (year of manufacture) license plates — currently non-opped. All of this can be yours for $14,900.

  1. Chevy Hatin' Mad Geordie

Just put it together and fit some airbags. Spray it metallic black and fit a black vinyl or leather interior. Some moon discs on the stock wheels or some 17inch multi spoke wire wheels would look fine. Then drive it to the builder of that FWD Eldorado thing just to show him how to build a PROPER modified Caddy!
