Cyclekarts: We Want One!

BangShift.com forum member Mr4Speed sent us along a link to this website about cyclekarts. What the hell is a cyclekart, you ask? Picture a tiny version of a 1920s race car and you’re getting onto the right track.

These babies are built by their owners and feature 6.5hp engines and wooden subframes, and weigh no more than 250 pounds before the driver is packed in. They get beat on and raced like go-karts but we’d say that these are way neater than standard issue karts.

The heyday of the cyclekart was in the ‘teens and early ‘20s, but the public wanted larger more powerful cars, so their days were numbered. These modern renditions are killer and with the right running gear would haul the mail.
