If you fell in love with the motorized recliner built, driven, and crashed by Minnesota’s Dennis LeRoy, you’re going to have a shot at owning it. After LeRoy plead guilty to the drunk driving charges, police took ownership of the chair and now have plans to put it on eBay once the ownership paperwork is completed. That should happen by the end of the week.

In the event you did not hear about the initial story. The nutshell version is that LeRoy built a motorized recliner than can supposedly make about 20 mph wide open. He got drunk at a bar and crashed the chair into a car on the way home. LeRoy claims he wrecked because some crazed female jumped onto the chair while it was moving. The cops aren’t impressed with the story.

The Associated Press is on the case with this story. We’re going to scan eBay and see if we can’t find this little piece of mechanical coolness and watch its sale price.
