Brian is out of town announcing yet another race at New England Dragway this weekend so in honor of his absence I’m going to run a really cool Ebay find that he would die to own. Not that he NEEDS a Chevy C50 Tow Truck, since he already has one, but more because he will WANT this C50 Tow Truck. At $8775, this garage kept DIX Auto Body wrecker out of New Jersey seems like it could be a pretty good deal. It’s got a 350, 4-speed, and only 51,000 miles on the clock. Sure it’s from the land of salt and snow but, according to the ad, the Ziebart rust preventative that was sprayed on it when new has done it’s job. I don’t know who the hell Ziebart was, but his stuff apparently worked.

Other than the tires, Brutus was in as good a shape as this one. Brutus’ former owner couldn’t give it away for about 2K. $8775 seems pretty steep.
Brutus has more charcter than Kermit the towtruck in my opinion.
All Brutus needs now is either A- a built BBC or B- a 6V53T screaming green leaker and twin stacks.
