This morning was my last at SCTA Bonneville Speed Week 2013. As I write this, I am riding with a buddy back to the LA area to catch a plane home in the morning. I made sure to get one last sunrise and impound visit before hitting the road. I have to say that the early mornings during my first visit to Speed Week were the coolest parts of the day. Seeing all the teams excited and working, watching all of the record qualifiers line up and travel in a massive convoy to their respective courses, and then seeing their nerves and excitement when the prep to run really brought the event home for me.
