Car Show Gallery: The 2013 DICE Alliance Fall Car Show – Arizona

Car Show Gallery: The 2013 DICE Alliance Fall Car Show – Arizona

(Words and photos by Bryan McTaggart) – DICE Alliance threw their second car show of 2013 in Prescott, Arizona. An all-inclusive car show (DICE meaning domestics, imports, classics and exotics), there was a little bit of everything there. The highlights of the show included a car limbo contest, where a ’52 Chevy lead sled on hydraulics and an SN95 Mustang competed with minitrucks and stance’d Hondas and Acuras…some with ten people in the car for that extra ½” of drop needed to get under the bar.

DICE Alliance also ran a fundraiser for the families of the Granite Mountain HotShots, the 19 firefighters who died fighting the Yarnell Hill fire this summer.

(Editor’s note – this is a cool example of an all inclusive show/cruise. We’re hearing about more and more of these type events around the country and we’re totally on board. Why? Our fate as car guys/girls is largely in the hands of ass hats and the more united we are as a hobby and a community the better off. You don’t have to love everything in this gallery, but you should respect the men and women who screwed those cars together. They’re the same type of person you are, just with different taste.)

Your “Editor’s note” could have been written 30-40 years ago easily. I tried to join a car club with some friends in 1980. I was turned down because my ’67 Camaro was a “late model”.
