(Photos by Dom Damato/DRD Photos) – Dom Damato has probably attended more World of Wheels/Autorama shows this year than anyone that we know because when he rolled into the Chicago tour stop it was the third one he had hit. Earlier this winter we showed you his coverage from Milwaukee’s World of Wheels, he then party crashed the Detroit Autorama, and now he’s sending us stuff from the Chicago World of Wheels. We bet they have a picture of him by the front door warning employees and show workers to avoid his lens! If they aren’t thankful he has hit all these shows, we sure are.
While a few of the cars you’ll see here have been shown in other WOW and Autorama coverage, the majority have not. Some of the big heavy hitters travel the circuit as part of the act but the majority of the cars that you’ll see here are local or decently local to the Chicago venue and that’s the case with most of these shows. They pull a wide cross section of the automotive world into them. You’ll see full on drag cars in here, pro touring cars, exotics like the awesome Ferrari below, and even some factory built show cars like the immaculate Monte Carlo SS that Chevrolet Performance recently built with its LS swap engine and all.
