Cruise Gallery: More Cool Cars And Trucks From The Kearney Cruise Kickoff Party – Kearney, Nebraska

Cruise Gallery: More Cool Cars And Trucks From The Kearney Cruise Kickoff Party – Kearney, Nebraska

(Photos by Scott Liggett) – When our pal Scott Liggett decided to ditch out on life in Los Angeles for a job with Blueprint Engines located in the heartland of America known as Nebraska we were wondering how he’d adjust. After all, he was going from a place with daily (and nightly) live televised car chases, millions of people, and so much stuff to do they can’t even hold onto an NFL franchise to a place where the cornstalks outnumbered the people by a wide….WIDE, margin. As it turns out, Scott is loving life because he’s surrounded by hardcore gearheads and awesome cars. He grew up in the middle of the country and seems to have really taken to the area and its charm. Hey, Kearney has an NHRA sanctioned drag strip, a vibrant car scene, and its own traditions that he’s quickly becoming a part of. When you see some of these photos, you’ll wish you were living there too!

Anyway, for nearly 30 years there’s been a big cruise happening in Kearney and last Friday was the kickoff party for the deal. Scott was there and blasted us a bunch of photos featuring only the most BangShifty iron there. No junk in this trunk, kids…only the cool stuff! Hit the button below to see the second and final installment of Scott’s photos!

Call me weird but love that 73 Grand Am 4-door! Back in the early 70’s, my bother was buying a 74 Sunbug and in the lot was a triple burgundy 73 Grand Am 4-door with a 4 speed!

You’re not alone, That Grand Am caught my eye too. I`ve always liked 73 Grand Am but never seen a black 73 4oor.

I run trains through this town. They have several car shows a year and I get to see some pretty awesome rides rolling down Hwy 30….Thanks for sharing!
