Event Gallery: The 2012 Carlisle Truck Nationals

Event Gallery: The 2012 Carlisle Truck Nationals

(Photos by John Button) – We’ve never been afraid to express our love of trucks here at BangShift. Chad is a reformed mini-truck guy, I love mud trucks, big rigs, and stuff that runs out of breath at 60mph, and lots of our readers are into the various truck scenes as well. When John Button shot us a note and said that he had photos from the recently held 2012 Carlisle Truck Nationals that we could share with the world, we snapped at the chance.

What makes this show cool to us is that it has literally every corner of the truck scene covered. From laid out mini-trucks to huge lifted show trucks, to polished big rigs, old school shop trucks, Jeeps that have been knocked and banged through the woods, and restored classic units, there’s not an angle of the truck world that is left uncovered. Hell, there were even a bunch of bitchin’ 1970s era vans there as well. We’ve included some photos of them in this gallery for good measure.

It is always neat when the working vehicles of the world are showcased and elevated to a higher level. This gallery is wall to wall trucks and assuming there is one aspect of the truckin’ universe that interests you, there’s plenty of drool quality material inside!

Thanks to John for sharing the photos!
