Miami, Florida’s Dezer Collection car museum has a massive grouping of famous movie and tv cars like one of the original Batmobiles (#3 made), a General Lee, the Monkeemobile, a Starsky and Hutch Torino, and on and on and on. With the sale of Batmobile #1 for 4.2 million dollars over the weekend we decided that the second gallery we would show you from the museum would be the movie and TV cars that Dezer has amassed in the huge facility. We even threw in a couple of odd rods like the surf wagon below.
While some of these movie and tv cars are cringe worthy, there’s no denying that stuff like the Batmobile, the General Lee, and the Monkeemobile inspired millions of kids and young people to think more about cars and get excited about them. Seriously, who didn’t have a childhood automotive crush on some television show or movie? Two Lane Blacktop is one lots of guys cite, but there are plenty of dudes drooling over Torinos because of Starsky, and others that love Chargers because of the Duke boys. Don’t be hating!
