(Photos by Scott Liggett) – California correspondent Scott Liggett had one heck of a busy weekend. On Friday night he was at the SoCal Bob’s Big cruise and sent us this gallery. On Saturday he was wrenching on his own stuff, and then on Sunday he woke up before the sun rose and scooted over the Long Beach, California for the massive swap meet that happens on a semi-regular basis. Good dude that he is, he was blasting great photos the whole time. Scott captured some awesome shots of parts for sale, but concentrated on the interesting and cool collection of cars that were on the market as well. There are some drool worthy ones in this collection and a few head scratchers, to boot.
Although the rise of eBay and Craigslist have ankled the swap meet scene somewhat, events like Long Beach are still going strong because they have such great history and a loyal following. We’re always interested in the galleries from this event because of the sheer number of neat cars that guys are trying to unload. Don’t even think about making an offer on the white ‘Cuda…we’ve got dibs on that one. Scott said so.
