Gallery: Tri-Five Chevys and Fords From Goodguys Columbus

(Photos by Doug Garrison) – If there were one era of styling in American automotive history that we wish could be bottled up and re-released at some point, it is the middle 1950s. The chrome, the audacious visual cues, and the emergence of the tail fin all come from that era and hot rodders do a wonderful job of adding their own twists to the already great foundation these cars provide. Here’s a collection of the coolest Chevys and Fords from the middle 1950s that Doug Garrison captured at the Goodguys Columbus show. There are gassers, street machines, and a couple of pro touring rides in here for your viewing pleasure. They all look great in our book (especially the gold gasser shown below!)
