(Photos by Charles Wickam) – We always talk about how much we love different stuff around here. We’re not just into drag racing, corner burning, and big trucks, we’re into all of it on some level so when Wickam told us last year he was heading to a “Concours” show we were a little on the weirded out side. Was this just a bunch of badly dressed rich guys waltzing around a golf course? Turns out this is one of the coolest car shows we cover all year and we’re honored to be allowed back in 2014.

This show has (as you’d expect by the name) both any automotive element and a boating element, both are freaking awesome. The cars range from the huge dollar and very rare machines of the 1920s and 1930s to classic muscle cars like Hemi powered Plymouths, the Camaro and Chevelle you see below, to big 1950s cruisers and even some modified cars for good measure. While it has the Concours name and carries itself in that manner it doesn’t seem to have any of the pretension that comes with what that show title is usually about. Look, we did make Wickam shower before he went because we didn’t want him smelling like Attila the Hun (again).
