(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – One more loaded swap meet with lots of goodies. The Delco battery cooler wasn’t for sale, but I had to have a picture. We happened upon what seemed to be an entire dirt track operation being parted out. Motor and everything was separated to get it moved. Lots of pedal cars could be found and I saw more go-karts for sale than at any swap meet I’ve been to.
For sure if someone was looking to outfit their man cave with trinkets and decoration there was no way you couldn’t find something. I didn’t know BuddyL made a functional LST. That thing was way cool. What…? Like you all don’t play with toys.
The ’40 COE was pretty solid and had a $5,500 price hung on it. I always enjoy seeing all the wagons folks bring out to help carry their treasures, but this baby-blue Woody takes the cake. Excellent. We did manage to get a couple things for the Nova and picked up a couple dozen old magazines for the collection. This is a fairly-large indoor sale and if you haven’t been I highly recommend it. Enjoy.
Brian: I’m guessing Kyana is (somewhat) local to you?? Sorry about my lack of knowledge of New England Geography, but that’s kind of like me expecting you to know where Drayton Valley is:) (We are driving out there from Edmonton on Sat for a swap)
Kyana = Kentucky + Indiana = Louisville Fair Grounds
