(Photos by Mike Brooks) – Yesterday we showed you the first batch of photos Mike Brooks shot at the Rally at the Ridge car show and today we bring you the second load. This was one heck of a show in a beautiful location that drew just about every kind of car imaginable. From pro street hitters to exotics, street rods, muscle cars, beaters, and trucks galore it was a heck of a good take. As summer quickly makes way for fall in this part of the world, our favorite cruising time of the year is at hand. The days when you can stick a sweatshirt on and hit the road are here and that’s a good thing. Crisp, dry air means your car is making more power and the last of sweltering heat means that you aren’t sweating like a stuck pig when in traffic.

Mike reported that the weather was feeling all fall-like and as a way to exercise some of those ponies that come with the cooler air, participants took advantage of a little burnout area to warm the tires for the ride home. The dude in the Mopar shown above seems to have been the most aggressive but it was all in good fun. We’ll be hitting more cruise nights and stuff in the fall as the travel schedule slows down and we’re scheming on winter projects as we speak. All that being said, enjoy Mike’s photos.
