(Words and photos by Mike Brooks/Jose Ferrer) – The shores of Lake Erie was once again the perfect backdrop for the Lakeshore Street Rod Association’s annual Harbor Cruise at Point Gratiot park in Dunkirk NY. Thousands of spectators stopped in to scope out the 650+ cars in attendance. Hot rods, musclecars, classics, kustoms, trucks, ratrods, wild vans, and other assorted rides were scattered all over the grounds.
The show is put on free of charge and the club holds raffles and takes donations to benefit local charities. It’s a laid back, trophy free, “run what ya brung” atmosphere with great food and music. It’s a great spot to hang out in the shade, check out some cool rides and hang out for the afternoon. If your anywhere near western NY next July, this is where you wanna be!
