Despite a dreary forecast and threatening skies, intrepid BangShift photo contributor Charles Wickam attended the 20th annual Bay City Cruisers car show deep in the heart of Texas. The show was hampered by the bad forecast so the turnout didn’t achieve near the numbers show organizers had hoped, but a pretty stout contingent of die-hards still turned out to have fun and see cool stuff. 

One car that turned our crank unexpectedly was the vintage BMW 2002. We knew a guy who had one pf those things several years ago and although it was very mildly warmed over, the car was a hoot to blast around in. Parked next to a rat rod at the show, the BMW was a cool non-sequitur to see at a show filled with hot rods, customs, and muscle.
