(Photos by Charles Wickam) – In a couple of weeks, Wickam and I will be hanging out in his neighborhood at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas as the NHRA Mello Yello tour swings into tow. Charles will be blasting photos on the wall at the track where I will be yelling about things for a couple days on end. Sounds like a match made in heaven, right? After a Texas winter, the cruise scene and show scene are starting to crank back up again and Charles was recently on the scene for the Kemah Texas cruise and sent us a bunch of great photos from the event.

We have been showing you photos from this gathering for a few years now and the thing keeps reinventing itself which is cool. In this group of photos you will see some heavy duty off road trucks, some funny and interesting wagons, some late model luxo muscle and plenty of the stuff you would expect to see in the form of slammed trucks and other neat street iron.

If anything this gives me some hope that the glaciers will finally recede in my neighborhood and we too will once again have fun stuff to do in our cars and trucks. Until then I guess I am going to have to live through these great photos from Charles. Oh, and Wickam better not get himself into any more screaming matches with the police while leaving Royal Purple Raceway again this year…right Charles?! (No jail time was served….)
