It’s always an adventure when you start off a week-long road trip with two brand new combinations and a truck that has issues. I mean what could possibly go wrong? As I’ve said before, the thrash is part of the fun for guys like Derek and I, but the payoff is heading down the road against all odds. Hell, most folks would think that leaving on a road trip behind the wheel of a car or track that has just been put together is down right crazy. And yet, we’ve done it to drive thousands of miles, not just the 250 that marks the first day of Hot Rod Power Tour so I’m sure Derek and the gang can pull it off.
Or can they? Will they make it, have troubles, or breeze through it.
