Great Rant: Are New Cars Ruining Old Car Shows?

Jim Sutherland of TheTruthAboutCars.com is up on the chip in an editorial about car shows and how it seems that many organizers have decided to relax any standards they had for what can and can’t make it into car shows these days.

He makes some good points in his rant about the sudden appearance of late-model stuff in shows that were historically for “old cars only.” Don’t get us wrong. We love some hopped-up, late-model Detroit Iron, but promotors should at least provide some divisions within the show to prevent a T-bucket from being parked next to a brand new G8 to which the owner has done nothing but polished the wheels and splooged tire shine on the rubber.

Lest we steal Jim’s thunder, he’s not exactly into this trend whatsoever. Click here to read the rant!
