Happy Mother’s Day From All Of Us At BangShift.com!

She was there when you first figured out that motion was better than sitting still all day long. She cringed the first time you went by, riding your bike without using the handlebars, and was waiting at the ready when you inevitably came in with a bit of road rash, a little bit of blood and a whole lot of wounded pride and confidence with the bacitracin and a band-aid. She looked at all of your dream-car sketches (including the ones you did instead of listening to the teacher in Math), encouraged you to follow a dream you wouldn’t let go, and despite her better judgement, allowed you to bring that rolling abomination into the driveway so that you could get to work on something that was yours (and not hers.) And she made sure that you understood the consequences of what would happen if you took that jalopy out somewhere and did something you weren’t supposed to be doing. Maybe it was implicit, or maybe it was clear enough that you’d rather go with the cop than go home. Whatever worked.

Our mothers have dealt with a lot when it comes to our upbringing, and that doesn’t even scratch the surface of the impact they have had upon our lives. Any mother who has willfully supported a child who has the same addiction that we all enjoy suffering from has probably spent nights awake, worrying about whether or not you are safe, whether they did the right thing for you, and wondering if it’s just a phase that you will grow out of at some point in your life. They brought you up into this world and have a majority stake in the person that you became. So give thanks to your mother today…trust us, we mean it when we say that it’s the least that you could do to pay her back for everything she did for you.

On behalf of Brian, Chad and I, we wish all of the moms out there a wonderful day today!

If mom is riveting an aircraft window, who’s going to have dinner ready by 6?
That welder must be 220v, that way she can plug the dryer back in when she’s done.
Do you know what those 4 women are on their way to do? The dishes.

    Lol, kidding Happy Mother’s Day!!!
