The most grueling test of man and hot rod the world has ever known, Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week presented by Gear Vendors Under/Overdrive is back for 2010 and we’re there to bring you all the news and dirt from the event! We’re going to provide daily photo and video coverage of the action on the track, in the pits, and on the side of the road between venues as the toughest band of hot rods and hot rodders fight their way from track to track without a trailer in sight!
Hot Rod Drag Week 2010 Presented by Gear Vendors Under/Overdrive is officially on! Monday test day is over and as you’d expect, there are cars running fine, cars running below their expected potential and some that are flat out busted already. There are surprise arrivals, surprise no-shows and plenty of reports of thrashing.
Chad Reynolds is our man on the scene with both video and still photo equipment. He’s snapping, clicking, and shooting everything that moves and recording all the inside stuff that you’re dying to know about the event.
The tour rolls into Indy on Wednesday and we’re thinking that big things could be afoot as there are unconfirmed reports that Larry Larson is going to shoot for a six-second pass on the famed track. The field has shrunk some, but only being day two, that is not a trend which will be reversed in the next day or two. Look for more cars to drop!
