Lohnes’ Pic of the Week: My Favorite Stocker Ever

Lohnes’ Pic of the Week: My Favorite Stocker Ever

I was in lust from the very second I laid eyes on this baby. The photo was taken at Lebanon Valley Dragway somewhere around 2002 or 2003 at an NHRA divisional or National Open event.

The car is the Q-Stock Automatic Caprice wagon of Adam Weisburgh and it’s my favorite Stock Eliminator car of those I’ve had the pleasure to run into. I have an unhealthy love for the big 1980s wagons and this is one version of my dream long roof Caprice hot rod.

As you can see by the dial-in on the window the barge has some scoot, running mid 13s on the little 9-inch-wide slicks the class mandates. We’re guessing all this is happening with a 305 under the hood, tuned and blueprinted to the edge of its life.

I know that I’m a weirdo. I defy anyone to say this thing isn’t cool.
