Chassisworks 2012 SEMA Show Camaro Products Update: 67-69 Camaro Parts Up The Wazoo!

Chassisworks 2012 SEMA Show Camaro Products Update: 67-69 Camaro Parts Up The Wazoo!

The dudes at Chris Alston’s Chassisworks have been introducing a ton of super cool parts for First-Gen Camaros over the last few weeks in preparation for the 2012 SEMA Show, and here at the SEMA Show we got to see them all up close and personal. To say that Chassisworks is changing the game would be the understatement of the century. These guys are not F-ing around, and the crowds in their booth may be some of the biggest at the entire 2012 SEMA Show. Check out the parts below the pictures of their display Camaro. You are going to dig them for sure.

In our world, a guy who wants to go to this level with his car isn’t afraid to cut something up and we’re okay with that. The fact that Chassisworks plans to offer ever single part you would have to fabricate to bring this car to completion means that a guy who has some decent welding skills can end up with a car like you would expect to see coming out of fancy builders shop. Stay tuned as they will be debuting more new parts regularly for the next few months.

With a completely new “full frame” and custom floors provided, the ride height on the car can be extremely low and yet still have ground clearance. The new floor is super custom looking, much more rigid than stock, and lighter by a little bit. Trick mounts, cable and fuel line runs and more are included. This really is a sweet setup. Multiple rear suspension systems are available as well. There really is too much to even tell you all of it here, so call Chris and he’ll fill you in.

I’ve been a Chassisworks dealer since 94….. I always say…..the most copied company on the planet !!!!!!…..there’s a reason for it…..the build the BEST parts on the planet !!!

Build one for a third gen. I can’t believe how many companies are fighting for the 1st gen market. For crying out loud how many can be left that people would be willing to by one for. Somebody needs to address the 3rd gen market. We didn’t even get sub frames. (still a fine handling car) or double A arms. If someone doesn’t build one that uses C4 front suspensions in 5 years when all of my kids are out of school I will.

Hoosier, all of the front suspension components on this car will be available for your third-gen by summer 2013, if not earlier. We have had a bolt-in clip for about a year which features better than C4 geometry. Plus, not using C4 arms means you can run a wheel with some lip instead of a goofy looking, negative offset, front wheel drive style wheel.
