Holley Has A New Sniper EFI That Replaces A Q-Jet! Quadrajet Owners Rejoice!

Holley Has A New Sniper EFI That Replaces A Q-Jet! Quadrajet Owners Rejoice!

I’m not gonna lie, I really like Quadrajet carburetors. They came stock on jillions of GM cars, and more, and I’ve owned several that had them on them. They work great, can support moderate power, and are ultra reliable. But they haven’t been made in years. At one point Edelbrock was making them again, but you can’t buy new Quadrajets anymore and the number of usable cores is diminishing all the time. And because of their spread bore throttle blades, you can’t just bolt a square bore like a Holley onto the stock intake. So what do you do if you want to put Holley EFI on your original quadrajet equipped vehicle?

Thanks to the new Holley EFI Sniper for Quadrajets, anyone with a Q-Jet equipped ride can bolt this on directly and have self tuning awesome EFI without an intake swap! How cool is this! It almost makes me want to keep my Q-Jet equipped small block in my Camaro.

When combined with a Sniper in-tank fuel system, including the new Sniper Filter/Regulator, you can do swap in less than a day and have your car up and running like a champ.

Here is all the info from Holley:

That’s freaking sweet! I’ve had a ton of Q-Jets and I love them. This is an exciting development.

Pretty much every hobby car that I have owned past and present had or has a quadrajet on it. I think that it’s cool that you can get EFI to replace it now. But I feel that if you really wanted to install EFI on your vehicle, you would have also done an intake manifold swap.

Exactly, especially on a SBC … how hard is it come up with a cheap square bore carb intake to swap on if you want to do EFI?

the proof is in the pudding….
the single plane intake for a buick 350 does not like q-jets for performance. if they can test and make it work for that setup, they can sell a bunch of them.
THEY have to go and prove it, but I highly doubt that holley will do that.
    if ain’t a 7-11 engine(chevy)…………
