The Chevrolet S10, and GMC S15, pickup truck platform is one of the most popular small truck platforms ever built. They have been customized, engine swapped, and tricked out in every conceivable fashion for decades. They have always been popular for small block and LS swaps, and can be seen on dragstrips around the country. In recent years folks have started building them into pro touring style rides as well, but have found limits with the stock leaf spring suspension out back. Thanks to the guys and gals at Ridetech, that is no longer a problem. Their new kit includes a really nice rear suspension system, available with both coil over shocks or air ride, that consists of a 3-link suspension system featuring delrin bushings and Ridetech R-Joints.

This rear suspension system will not only improve the ride dramatically, but also provide a much better handling pickup truck. But make no mistake, it will still be a pickup truck. Installing this system does not result in a useless pickup truck that can’t haul your stuff to the track. It can do it all, and do it well.

Up front the Ridetech Strong Arms provide a huge improvement in handling due to much improved geometry and also feature delrin bushings to keep the movements under control. Ridetech’s coil-over shocks not only lower the truck but also provide optimal valving for daily driving, weekend autocross, or the occasional road course trek. Just like the rear, you’ll be able to choose Ridetech’s Air Ride if you want and that means ride height adjustment at will.
