30 Minute Door Delete: QUICK And EASY 2 Door Conversion – Transforming An Ugly 4 Door Into A Sweet 2 Door!

If you haven’t seen a Tri-Five Chevy 2-Door conversion before, you are going to want to watch this to see just how easy it really can be. And if you have, then you are going to want to watch this so you can see just how quick the process can be when you don’t get in the way of what GM intended in the first place. Cut it out, line it up, and weld it back. They already put the hole where it is supposed to be, and made it the right size, so all you have to do is fill it with a door and quarter panel instead of two doors. Easy peasy. Watch.

Video Description:

We’re at it again!

I got an end of year deal on a pretty solid tri five Chevy. The only problem? It was yellow, a 1956 AND A 4 DOOR!

Luckily when Mr. Chevrolet designed the 1955-57 cars, he made the roof, body length and glass all the same. The only difference between a 4 door and a 2 car are the length of doors and where the door post is located. Everything else is just filling in holes with sheetmetal.

So buckle up and watch me hack up this old hot rod in a HURRY!
