An automobile project doesn’t get much more involved than a frame swap, does it? Undoing that marriage of chassis and body that was made at the factory takes commitment, a near encyclopedic knowledge of what you’re working with, the proper tools and time to do everything right. One frame swap per lifetime is more than enough for any one person to do, and plenty of people would be happier if they never, ever heard the phrase at all. But there are those people out there who will not half-ass anything they do, and have the skills and the motivation to dive headfirst into a huge project. While we have many of those kinds in the BangShift forums, we’re going to take a look at one of the newest names: ZipTie…er, Nathan.
Nathan has a vision in his head, he’s had it for a while: Panther chassis, Ford Truck visuals. And he’s not going to stop until the finished product is to his liking, even if that means diving further down the rabbit hole. This guy is undoubtedly BangShift approved, just because of his commitment to the build. We’d have just turned a beater Crown Vic into a ute before going down this road! Check out his project posts, and let Nathan explain the build up in his own words:
BangShift Project Files:
69 F250 on an 06 Crown Vic Full Frame Swap!
F100 on an Crown Vic frame…a little differently this time though.
