It’s time for an update on this cool 1950 Chevy pickup project they have recently started over at Bello’s Kustoms. It’s time fo the custom 4-link, which Mike keeps simple and effective, but with some heavy duty and reliable tweaks. Plus some cool design additions.
Mike and the crew have been working on this one and started out with some chassis love in the form of a new IFS system up front, along with motor mounts. In the second installment, the chassis love continued with a rear C-notch for axle clearance and a nice ride at the lowest of ride heights. In addition to the C-notch, the transmission crossmember came together and at that point this thing was getting dangerously close to ready to become a roller that is ready to start going together.
I do love the traditional look that Bello’s is known for, but this modern take on it with the bigger wheel and tire is cool. I especially like the artillery style wheels on some things and this Chevy pickup right here is one of them.
