Iron Trap 1932 Ford “DeLorean” Roadster: Cutting Out The Rusty Floor

Iron Trap 1932 Ford “DeLorean” Roadster: Cutting Out The Rusty Floor

It was subrails last video and now cutting out all the rusty floor bits in this one. The “DeLorean” roadster is under the knife and it’s going to be an awesome project.

Iron Trap has got all kinds of great projects, but this ’32 Ford Roadster is going to be something. It’s weird to see them getting new parts for a car like this, but it is the right choice to make this car as “original” as possible. Check out the two videos below that show how this project is getting started and then follow along as we’ll bring you regular updates.

Video Description:

In the last video on the DeLorean Roadster Matt got the floors and subrails welded together, now its time to bring the body down to the shop. Matt and Steve drag the body back down to the shop and use the lift to pick the body off of the body cart. One the body is hanging in the air Matt gets to work cutting out of the old floor and subrails, but while cutting he caught the cotton in the door in fire!! Once the fire is under control Matt finishes up cutting out the floors and finishes up removing the old sound deadening added to the inside of the body. Off camera Matt is going to clean off the rest of the sound deadening to prep for welding the body to the new subrails!!
