Iron Trap 1932 Ford “DeLorean” Roadster: This 1932 Ford Roadster Is Starting For The First Time Since 1953!!

This week’s video has Matt and the gang working toward the first start of the DeLorean roadster and we are getting excited about how far this car is coming along. It’s not run since 1953! How cool is this?!

Iron Trap has got all kinds of great projects, but this ’32 Ford Roadster is going to be something. It’s weird to see them getting new parts for a car like this, but it is the right choice to make this car as “original” as possible. Check out the two videos below that show how this project is getting started and then follow along as we’ll bring you regular updates.

Video Description:

Since installing the engine into the 1932 Roadster, Matt and Steve have been working on a few things in the background. Steve has fully plumbed the fuel & brake system, and Matt recently modified a set of headers. In today’s video Matt and Steve are going to work on getting to Roadster’s engine to start in the car with the fuel tank and starter switch. While Steve is wiring, Matt works on building a battery tray to sit under the floor, to hide it, and make it easily accessible under the wooden floor. Once the wiring is complete, it’s time to make the engine run!
