Last weekend we went to the town of West Texas for an auction that was pretty incredible. Located at a former restoration and hot rod shop that was an icon in the area, there was an amazing number of cars, parts, signs, and other memorabilia on site for auction. With more than 1,500 lots for sale, this three day auction was going to be non-stop auctioning action. The auction’s cars went up for auction on the first day, and we were on site to check it out, get photos, and to maybe buy a thing or two. Our buddy Ryan Wing from Street Car Chronicles was also on-site and we had some fun walking around looking at cars and bidding on a few things.
Below is Ryan’s video, and our photo galleries will start tomorrow with several galleries of cool cars up for auction.
Video Description:
We heard about a collection of Tri5 Chevy’s being Auctioned in the town of West. Little did we know just how large this collection was. I went in hopes of grabbing a parts car for the FORGOTTEN 55 GASSER. Jason Went for a 77 Chevy Short Van, and a GBody Wagon, and my buddy Chad went for a 58 BelAir, and a 50 Chevy. Did we come away with anything good? Let me know what you thought of this insane auction in the comments below. Places like this are fading away day by day. Get out to one near you and save these Hot Rods from being crushed!
