Newbern Is Building A 1955 Chevrolet Sedan To Be The Ultimate Family Daily Driver Cruiser

I’m an old car freak. I don’t own anything that is newer than 30 years old, which seems weird but cool all at the same time. I’ve had a bunch of different daily drivers over the years and can say that driving something with some personality is good for the soul. And with the parts and pieces available to build a hot rod nowadays, you can have every modern convenience you want in just about any platform. So when Newbern said that he was going to build a 1955 Chevy Sedan to be a daily driver and family road trip machine, I totally approved.

In the video below you’ll see this project get its start and we can’t wait to see all the fun that surrounds it.

Video Description:

Welcome to Newbern’s Garage! In today’s episode, we’re diving into a project I’m really excited about. As a huge fan of tri-five’s, I’m not one to overlook the four-door models that many people tend to dismiss. I see a ton of potential in them, and they offer so many possibilities for fun. In this build, we’re prepping this baby in order to install a powerful small-block Chevy, transforming it into the perfect family car with plenty of performance. I can’t wait to get started—this one’s going to be a blast!
