Hot rodding history is incredibly cool, not only because it has lead us to the hot rodding world we know and love today, but also because history tends to repeat itself. Whether you are talking about fashion trends or hot rodding trends, the past always comes back around. The traditional hot rod crowd, like the guys at Iron Trap Garage, are always looking to build their cars to a specific period in history. Some folks love pre-war, meaning before World War Two. Others want the few years following the war. And then there are guys like me that want to build a Pro Street car and want it to look like it was built in the late 1980’s or early 1990’s.

It’s really no different. If you are building a car or truck to look like something that came from the past, then you can understand as well.
