I’m a fan of junk builds, as well as projects that have no good reason to do other than to put smiles on the faces of those doing them. I mean that’s what hot rodding is all about, right? So when Tony Angelo decided to take a cheap old Dodge D100, that like so many is Slant Six powered, and then added a cheap turbo and some back yard ingenuity to make it do burnouts and not drive like a slug, we whole heartedly approved. And this second video is great because the first one had Tony smiling like a little kid and this one has him doubling the boost which means twice as many smiles. Watch and enjoy, and if you missed the first one, there is a link below.
Now before you start worrying about the Dodge’s Slant Six, remember that the “leaning tower of power” is one of the most durable six cylinders ever built. Hell, these things run no matter what, and I think some boost is just what they have always wanted. Let’s see if Tony proves me right!

Video Description:
Going cheap for fast is the BEST! This week, Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned crew get after it on Barb’s DIRT CHEAP ’80 D150 project, and make a few upgrades and repairs. This sucker gets a new clutch and flywheel, Hurst shifter, and a boost controller so we can CRANK IT UP! Will this thing stay in one piece, or will they send the rods to space. Stay Tuned to find out!
